Separation & Divorce Support Groups 2012-2013

Going through separation and divorce can be like riding a roller coaster of emotions. At first you may feel completely overwhelmed. Then as time passes, you find yourself beginning to feel hopeful for the future only to be knocked down again by black cloud of sadness, anger, anxiety or confusion. If you are having experiences like these they are completely normal. The ending of a significant relationship is a major life transition and a time of great change.

Our groups are designed for people who are separating, divorcing or divorced in Seattle and the greater Eastside. Going through a separation and/or divorce, can be like riding a roller coaster of emotions. At first you may feel completely overwhelmed, then as time passes you will find to yourself feeling hopeful for the future. Periodically the “storm” rolls in, the sadness, anger, anxiety or confusion returns. Know that healing is a process. As you begin to move into your new life and create new dreams, the “storms” will become less and less frequent.

The ending of a significant relationship is a major life transition and it can also be a time of great personal growth. As you make your way through the process of a separation, divorce or after your divorce is final, it can be helpful to reach out for support and join with others who understand what you are going through.

Are you experiencing a roller coaster of emotions?
Feeling alone, disconnected?

Our separation & divorce support groups are designed to be a safe haven, offering you a compassionate space to join with others who can understand what you are going through. Together you find your feelings validated and normalized.

Come share your sorrows, discover new joys, and learn from others as you gain support to navigate the path ahead. You will walk away knowing you have a place to go. A place where you can be seen and heard, your pain can be held, and you will be encouraged to grow and find happiness once again.

Our separation & divorce support groups offer you a safe, encouraging place to connect with others that are in a similar situation. A space to offer and gain support, and connect with others who can understand what you are going through. You are not alone.
